Ivan Chugunov is an associate at KAMS Moscow, specializing in restructuring and insolvency projects as well as M&A practice both in Russia and abroad.
Being competent in bankruptcy law Ivan assists creditors and trustees in disputing of dubious transactions, recovery of damages and bringing the controlling persons to secondary liability.
Aside from his focus on restructuring matters, Ivan is a part of litigation and dispute resolution department in KAMS Moscow and deals with corporate conflicts, bringing to responsibility the company’s executive bodies, real-estate disputes both in commercial and arbitration courts.
Ivan obtained a Master’s Degree equivalent in European Economic Law from Pantheon-Sorbonne University and an LL.B in Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
Prior to joining KAMS Moscow in 2018 Ivan was a junior associate in Russian law firm, focusing on restructuring projects, legal advice and M&A in oil&gas sector.
