Finding solutions for investments in challenging situations and complicated jurisdictions

Étienne Épron is a French lawyer, partner in Sagasser’s mergers-acquisitions/real-estate department.

His practice comprises company law, real-estate, acquisitions, corporate and tax structuring, restructuring and setting-up of joint-ventures, both in France and abroad.

Thanks to his French-German education and to his prior experience within the Moscow office of a French leading law firm, he has developed a particular expertise in cross border M&A transactions involving German, French and Russian entities/assets.

His current real-estate practice customarily encompasses advising French/foreign investment funds and family offices within the frame of the acquisition, the legal management and the disposal of real-estate assets located in France, among which first tier office premises.

His Russian-oriented practice covers notably structuring foreign investments in/from Russia, acquisitions of Russian entities, setting-up joint-ventures and negotiating shareholders agreements in relation to Russian entities.

In France, since 2009, his practice also comprises domestic M&A transactions, in relation to various sectors among which the defence sector, digital communication, biotech and IT services companies.

Étienne Épron also regularly advises French early-stage entities in the legal aspects of their growth and capital management.
